Deidre Burridge Dagner
![]() |
A perfectionist by nature, Deidre worked as a systems analyst and consultant for over 20 years. In her spare time, she began researching Colonial America and her Revolutionary War era ancestors. Deidre felt it was the hand of destiny when she learned the previous compilers needed someone to take over this project since, at that time, she was looking to make a career change. An avid genealogist and free lance writer, the completion of this important work appealed to her immediately. Deidre is the direct descendant of Revolutionary War soldier John Burridge of Braintree, Massachusetts. She is the Registrar for the Louisa Courthouse Chapter of the NSDAR, a member of the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, the National Genealogical Society, and the NSFHW. She lives in the shadow of the magnificent Blue Ridge mountains in central Virginia, with her husband of thirty years. Four of their five children, and two grandchildren live nearby. Deidre has been published twice in Ancestry Magazine in 2007 and will be writing more genealogical articles as time allows. A book based on her 17th and 18th century research is nearing completion. |
